One operator. One acre an hour. A 5 HP harvester that cuts wheat, paddy, soybean and fodder as low as 4 cm and lays it in a clean windrow — with the straw saved, not burnt.
The SAT power reaper is a compact, self-propelled harvester that walks the field with you. Its hardened cutter bar shears standing crop as low as 4 cm and lays every stem in a tidy windrow, ready for bundling or threshing. Because the grain is never threshed inside the machine, the straw comes out whole — bhusa you can stack, feed or sell, instead of stubble you burn.
It is built for the 2–20 acre farm where hiring eight or ten labourers has become slow, costly and uncertain. One person steers with two clutch levers and clears roughly an acre every hour, so the harvest finishes on the day you planned — not the day labour finally shows up. Weighing the options? Our wheat harvesting machine guide compares reaper, combine and manual labour acre by acre.
Two engines, one job. The diesel SAT-R101 runs a 5 HP Greaves engine on a 3-belt drive and takes crop up to 10 feet tall — the workhorse for custom-hiring and daily use, where cost per acre decides everything. The petrol SAT-R102 carries a 5 HP Honda GX200 on a 2-belt drive; at 230 kg it is lighter, starts on the first pull and suits own-farm work in crop from 2 to 6 feet. What decides the final quote? Our power reaper price guide breaks it down from the factory side — and dealers across 9+ states are listed on our network page.
The hardened cutter bar shaves the crop near ground level, so almost the full stem length is recovered as saleable straw.
At a steady 5 kmph working speed, a single operator finishes in a morning what a hired team stretches over days.
Stems fall into a neat windrow instead of scattering — more grain in your trolley, less left behind on the ground.
Greaves diesel for the lowest running cost on long days; Honda GX200 petrol for light weight and easy starts.
Agricultural-grade tyres grip wet paddy beds, dusty wheat plots and uneven bunds without slip or sink.
Mount the SAT-S701 seating attachment and turn the walk-behind reaper into a riding machine for long harvest days.
Same chassis, same hardened cutter bar, same tyres — the difference is the engine and how you plan to use it.

The 4 cm low cut earns its keep in wheat and paddy, where recovered straw becomes fodder stock or mandi income — and the same cutter bar handles millets, oilseeds and green fodder.
Every reaper chassis is welded on a fixture in our Ahmedabad plant, so the drive line and cutter bar sit identically on each unit — and the machine tracks straight.
You buy from the manufacturer, not a reseller — there is no distributor margin hidden in your quote.
Belts, blades, bearings and cutter-bar sections come from the same plant that built your reaper.
Every reaper runs under load and its cut is inspected before dispatch. Units that fail go back to the line — never to a farm.
Hands-on training comes with delivery, so your reaper earns from the first morning — not week three.
Add the SAT-S701 seat and steering kit and harvest all day sitting down — the same reaper, none of the fatigue.
Differential drive with lock — turns smoothly in tight, irregular fields where a standard reaper struggles.
Converts any SAT walk-behind reaper into a riding machine — sit, steer and harvest all day without fatigue.
After the reaper cuts, this loads — a full trolley of bhusa collected, chopped and loaded in 20–25 minutes.
