A paddy reaper machine is a walk-behind harvester that cuts ripe paddy (rice) close to the ground and lays it in a windrow for drying and threshing. Sunidhi Agrotech's SAT-R101 and SAT-R102 power reapers cut paddy as low as 4 cm and clear about an acre an hour, and the SAT-R201 differential reaper adds a diff lock for soft, bunded plots. Paddy fields are rarely firm at harvest. They are small, walled in by bunds and often still soft from the last irrigation.
