The self-propelled SAT-R101 runs a 5 HP Greaves diesel engine and the SAT-R102 a 5 HP Honda GX200 petrol engine; both cut as low as 4 cm, cover about an acre an hour and keep crop loss under 0.5%. Bihar grew 3.24 million hectares of paddy and 2.29 million hectares of wheat in 2024-25, two harvests a year on much of the same land, which is where a reaper you own pays back fastest. Paddy is often cut on small plots that are still wet at harvest. That is where the differential SAT-R201 earns its price: the differential lets the machine turn without being dragged, and the lock pulls both wheels together when one starts to slip. On firmer, larger plots the standard SAT-R101 or SAT-R102 does the same cutting for less.
