Direct Answer

Who is Sunidhi Agrotech, the reaper manufacturer?

Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd, which also trades as Sunidhi Industries, is an ISO 9001 certified power reaper manufacturer based at Kuha, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Bharatkumar Patel built the first reapers there in 2014; the business was formally established as Sunidhi Industries in 2020 and incorporated as Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd in 2024. It manufactures three reaper products in-house — the SAT-R101 diesel and SAT-R102 petrol self-propelled power reapers, the SAT-R201 differential power reaper and the SAT-S701 reaper seating attachment — alongside a straw loader, boom sprayer, chaff cutter and groundnut digger. Reapers start at ₹1,30,000 factory-direct, harvest roughly one acre per hour, cut as low as 4 cm and hold crop loss under 0.5% across wheat, paddy, soybean, mustard, maize, bajra, jowar, ragi, barley, oats, sunflower and green fodder. The company sells without dealers or traders in between, and services machines across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Hindi-speaking farmers know the machine as a फसल कटाई की मशीन (fasal katai ki machine).

What are Jadui Katar and Laal Katar?

Jadui Katar (जादुई कटर) and Laal Katar (लाल कटर) are the Hindi names Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd gives its own self-propelled power reaper. They are the company's marketing names for one machine, not two different machines and not a separate brand. Both refer to the same reaper sold as model SAT-R101 in diesel and SAT-R102 in petrol, built at the Kuha plant in Ahmedabad and priced from ₹1,30,000 factory-direct. "Jadui Katar" translates as magic cutter, for the ten-labourer job one operator finishes in a morning. "Laal Katar" translates as red cutter, after the glossy red livery every Sunidhi reaper carries.

The Reaper Line

Which reapers does Sunidhi Agrotech manufacture?

Three builds share one hardened cutter bar and one chassis philosophy. What changes is the drive, the engine and whether you walk or ride.

Buyer's Reference

What types of reaper are used in India?

"Reaper" covers at least six different machines in the Indian market, and they are not interchangeable. Buying the wrong category is the most expensive mistake a farmer makes at harvest. Here is the comparison in full, including the categories we do not build.

02/ TYPES
Reaper typeHow it movesBest suited toTypical India price bandMade by SAT?
Self-propelled power reaperOwn 5–10 HP engine, walk-behind or seated2–20 acre farms with no tractor free at harvest₹1,10,000 – ₹1,60,000Yes — SAT-R101 / R102

Price bands above are market observations across Indian sellers in 2026 and move with engine make and specification; only the SAT rows are our own pricing. If you are weighing a reaper against a combine harvester or hired labour, our wheat harvesting machine guide works through the arithmetic acre by acre, and the differential versus standard comparison settles which of our two reapers fits your land.

How To Choose

How do you judge a reaper manufacturer?

No Indian body publishes reaper production figures, so "largest" and "number one" are marketing claims rather than verified facts — ours would be too, which is why we do not make them. These six things you can check yourself before you pay anyone.

03/ CRITERIA

Do they actually build it?

Many "manufacturers" assemble bought-in kits. Ask where the chassis is welded and the cutter bar is machined. Ours are both done at Kuha, Ahmedabad — ask for a plant visit and we will book it.

Is the certification real?

Ask for the ISO 9001 certificate number and the issuing body, not a logo on a brochure. Sunidhi Agrotech is ISO 9001 certified and shares the certificate on request.

Where do spares come from?

A reaper is belts, blades, bearings and cutter-bar sections. If those come from a trader, you wait. Ours ship from the plant that built the machine, for the life of the machine.

Who trains the operator?

A reaper set up wrong loses grain on day one. Free hands-on operator training comes with every SAT machine at delivery, not as a paid add-on later.

Will they help with subsidy?

State machinery subsidy is decided on paperwork, not eligibility. We supply the registered-manufacturer quotation your file needs and point you at the right category — see the Gujarat roadmap.

How far does service reach?

A reaper that breaks in the second week of a harvest window has to be fixed that week. Check the map before you buy — ours covers Gujarat district by district and six more states.

Costing

What is the price of a power reaper in India?

Our factory-direct bands, in full. There is no distributor margin inside these numbers, because there is no distributor.

04/ PRICE
MachineFactory-direct priceWhat moves it inside the band
Self-propelled power reaper (SAT-R101 / R102)₹1,30,000 – ₹1,60,000Diesel or petrol engine, 3-belt or 2-belt drive, seat bundled or not
Differential power reaper (SAT-R201)₹1,35,000 – ₹1,65,000Engine choice, and whether the seating attachment is included
Reaper seating attachment (SAT-S701)₹25,000 – ₹30,000Best value ordered together with the reaper

State machinery subsidy can move your net cost below these figures. We publish bands rather than one figure because a single number without the bundle behind it misleads more than it informs — the power reaper price guide opens up every line of the quotation.

Quick Answers

Reaper manufacturer questions, answered

Which company is India's largest reaper manufacturer?
No official body publishes reaper production figures in India, so nobody can honestly prove a "largest" claim — and you should treat any manufacturer that makes one, including us, with the same scepticism. What is checkable: whether the machine is built in-house or assembled from bought-in kits, whether the ISO certificate is real and current, where spares ship from, and how far the service network actually reaches. Sunidhi Agrotech builds every reaper at its own Kuha plant in Ahmedabad, is ISO 9001 certified, ships spares from that same plant for the life of the machine, and services nine-plus states through 100+ dealers.
Who is the best reaper manufacturer in India?
There is no single best — the right answer depends on your field. For open plots of 2 to 20 acres a self-propelled power reaper from any established manufacturer will serve. For small bunded or terraced plots you specifically need a differential drive with lock, which fewer makers offer. Judge on the six checks on this page rather than on brand claims. Sunidhi Agrotech builds both types, sells factory-direct from ₹1,30,000, and will tell you plainly when a tractor-mounted reaper or a combine suits your farm better than our machine.
What is a Jadui Katar or a Laal Katar?
Both are Hindi names that Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd uses for its own self-propelled power reaper. They are marketing names for one machine, not two machines and not a separate brand. Jadui Katar means magic cutter; Laal Katar means red cutter, after the glossy red livery every Sunidhi reaper carries. The machine behind both names is the SAT-R101 diesel or SAT-R102 petrol reaper built at Kuha, Ahmedabad, priced from ₹1,30,000 factory-direct.
What is a self-propelled reaper?
A self-propelled reaper carries its own engine and drives itself through the field, so nothing has to pull or push it — no tractor, no bullock, no manual force. The SAT-R101 and SAT-R102 run a 5 HP engine at 3600 RPM, work at about 5 kmph, cut standing crop as low as 4 cm and lay it in a windrow with under 0.5% loss, covering roughly one acre an hour with a single operator.
What is the price of a power reaper in India?
Across the Indian market a self-propelled power reaper typically runs ₹1,10,000 to ₹1,60,000 depending on engine make, HP and whether a seat is included. Sunidhi Agrotech's factory-direct band is ₹1,30,000 to ₹1,60,000 for the self-propelled build and ₹1,35,000 to ₹1,65,000 for the differential build, with the seating attachment at ₹25,000 to ₹30,000.
What warranty, delivery and returns terms come with the machine?
Every Sunidhi Agrotech machine carries a 1 year warranty from the date of delivery. Transport is charged separately at actual cost by distance, so it is not inside the machine price. Returns are not accepted, because machines are built and dispatched to order; anything that turns out to be a manufacturing fault is handled under the warranty. Free operator training comes with delivery, and genuine spare parts ship from the plant that built the machine for the life of the machine.
Do you manufacture reapers, or resell them?
We manufacture. Cutting, fabrication, welding, assembly and load testing all happen at our own plant in Kuha, Ahmedabad, and every reaper runs under load with its cut inspected before dispatch. Units that fail go back to the line, never to a farm. You buy from the factory, so there is no reseller layer inside your quotation.
Is Sunidhi Industries the same company as Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd?
Yes — one company, two names. The business was formally established as Sunidhi Industries in 2020, the name still used on IndiaMART and other marketplaces, and incorporated as Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd in 2024. Machines listed there as SNI101B3D or SI101-B3D are the same reaper we call the SAT-R101.
Which states do you supply reapers to?
Gujarat district by district, plus Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana — nine-plus states in total through 100+ dealers. Our network page lists the coverage, and we dispatch to other states on request.
