No official or independent body publishes company-wise reaper production or sales figures in India, so every “No. 1” claim is the maker’s own. Here are eight facts you can check about any reaper manufacturer, ours included, before you believe it.
Quick answer. Nobody can prove it. India has no official ranking of reaper manufacturers and no official or independent body publishes company-wise reaper production or sales figures, so “No. 1” on a brochure, banner or advertisement is a marketing claim, not a ranking. What you can do is check eight facts about any maker before you pay. They are below, with our own answers.
We looked for official or independent reaper production or sales figures by company, from government and industry bodies, and found none. The only reaper-specific production figure we met is KAMCO’s own statement that its plant can produce 1,200 power reapers a year (company page). That is capacity, not sales. Shrachi states a combined 5,000 machines a year across all its products, and Balwaan’s product pages show unaudited units-sold counters. Figures a maker states about itself are not comparable with anyone else’s.
“No. 1” is also unfinished without three words: in what, in which year, and according to whom. Oldest, largest, cheapest, most reviewed and best serviced are different contests with different winners. A claim that names none of them cannot be checked.
| What you can check | How to check it | Sunidhi Agrotech’s answer |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Do they build it? | Ask where the chassis is welded and the cutter bar is made. Ask for a plant visit. | Chassis welded on a fixture and every reaper load-tested at our own plant in Kuha, Ahmedabad. Plant visits on request. |
| 2. Years in business | Ask for the first year the maker sold a reaper, and check it against company records. | First reapers built in 2014 (12 years). The company was incorporated in 2023. On years alone we are not No. 1: VST was incorporated in 1967, Vasundhara dates to 1986 and Sardar to 1996 (company start years, not reaper start years), and KAMCO’s Mala unit has produced power reapers since 2000 (KAMCO about page). |
| 3. Real certification | Ask for the ISO certificate number and the issuing body, not a logo. | ISO 9001 certified (about page dates it to 2017). Certificate shared on request. |
| 4. Test report for subsidy | Ask for the test report number and whether the model is on your state’s list. | Not published on this site. Ask any maker, us included, for the report number in writing before you count on subsidy. |
| 5. Published prices | Open the maker’s website. Is there a price, or only “get quote”? | Full price list online. Of the ten makers in our top 10 list, four publish a price on their own site: Balwaan, KisanKraft, Shrachi and us (checked 5 Oct 2026). |
| 6. Public reviews | Open the maker on Google Maps. Read the reviews and the replies, not just the score. | 5.0 from 39 Google reviews on 5 Oct 2026. We have not compared other makers’ ratings — check them the same way, and trust reviews that name a machine, a crop or a village. |
| 7. Service reach | Ask for the dealer nearest you and call them. | 100+ authorised dealers across 9+ states (company figure). Dealer and service network. |
| 8. Warranty in writing | Get warranty length, what it covers and the return terms on paper. | 1 year from delivery. Transport is charged separately at actual cost, and returns are not accepted because machines are built to order. All on one policy page. |
Checked on 5 Oct 2026. Competitor facts come from the companies’ own pages and are cited on our top 10 reaper manufacturers page.
We do not claim to be the number 1 reaper manufacturer in India, because we cannot prove it. Several makers on the top 10 list are older or far larger companies than ours. What we can say, and you can check, is this:
A claim has to name a measure, a period and a source — for example “most power reapers sold in FY 2025–26, per a chartered-accountant-certified sales statement”. When any maker, ourselves included, publishes that, you can ask to see the document. Until then, treat “No. 1” as a cue to ask for proof, and use the eight checks above to compare makers on facts you can verify.
