It is a single-row, tractor-operated digger on a standard 3-point linkage, with the blade set at about 15 degrees so that it passes under the pod zone and lifts the whole plant with its pods still attached. It needs no PTO drive; the tractor's pull and the depth setting do the work, so there is very little on the machine to fail during a short harvest window. Rajasthan is India's second-largest groundnut producer, with 1.06 million hectares in 2024-25 and 17.9% of national production. Working depth is adjustable, and plants are laid out for windrow drying.
