SAT Agrotrack is the app our field team uses to record a working day. This page says exactly what it stores, what it never touches, and who can see it — in the same plain language we would use on the phone.
SAT Agrotrack (com.sat.agrotrack) is used only by employees of Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd. There is no public sign-up — an administrator creates your account and gives you a one-time password. If you are not an employee, no login will work, and there is nothing in the app for you.
Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd decides what the app collects and why. The app is published on Google Play by Punchify India on our behalf. Anything in this policy that says "we" means Sunidhi Agrotech Pvt Ltd.
Nothing in this app is collected for advertising, and nothing is sold to anybody. There are no ads, no trackers and no data brokers involved.
Every row below exists because some part of the work needs it. If a line stops being needed, it comes out of the app and off this page.
| What | Why we need it | When it is collected |
|---|---|---|
| Name and mobile number | Your mobile number is your login. Your name identifies your work to your team and your manager. | Entered by your administrator when your account is created. |
| Profile photo and work details | So colleagues recognise you, and for your employee record. | Only if you add them. |
| Precise location | To record where a dealer meeting started and ended, and to draw the route of a trip you are on. | When you start or stop a meeting, and while a trip you are on is running — never outside a trip. |
| Voice notes | So you can say, in your own words, how a call with a dealer went. | Only when you press record after a call. |
| Photos and files you attach | Expense bills, dealer documents, and anything you add to the media library. | Only the files you pick yourself. |
| The work you record | Dealers and farmers, lead status, follow-up dates, notes, meetings, assessment forms, call outcomes, trips, expenses, orders, quotations and service tickets. | As you use the app. |
| Battery level and GPS accuracy | So a gap in a trip's route can be explained. A dead battery and a phone switched off on purpose look identical unless we record which it was. | Alongside each location point during a trip. |
These are worth stating outright, because they are the things people reasonably worry about when a company puts an app on their phone.
The app can dial a dealer so you do not have to copy the number into the dialler — that is what the phone permission is for. It does not record call audio, and it cannot read your call log, contacts or SMS. What it stores is only what you enter afterwards: the outcome you pick, a note, and a voice note if you record one.
Location points are stored against a trip, and the database will not accept a point with no trip attached. Once your trip is closed, the app stops recording where you are. Evenings, Sundays and leave are simply not in the data.
No ads, no analytics profiling, no data brokers, no resale. We also never ask for payment or bank information — the app has no payment feature at all.
Access is enforced by rules held inside the database itself, not only on screen — so a rule cannot be got round by a modified app or a direct call to the server.
| Who | What they can see |
|---|---|
| You | Everything you record. |
| Your colleagues | The shared dealer list, and trips you are both on. A trip is visible only to the people on it. |
| Administrators | All of the above, plus work reports, trip routes and expenses — normal supervision of company work. |
| Anyone outside the company | Nothing. |
Employees enter the shops and farmers they deal with — business name, owner name, mobile number, village, district and state, and notes about the relationship. This is business contact information held for our own sales work. It is visible to our employees and administrators, and to nobody outside the company.
Data is stored on Supabase, our hosting and database provider, which processes it on our behalf under its own security terms. Traffic between the app and the server is encrypted.
Some information — the dealer list in particular — is also kept on your phone so the app opens and searches where the network does not reach. Signing out or uninstalling the app removes that local copy.
Work records are kept for as long as they are useful to the business and as long as Indian law requires us to keep business records. When an employee leaves, their login is disabled; the work they recorded stays with the company, because it is company work.
Each one is asked for at the moment it is first needed — never all at once on the first screen — and each can be withdrawn later in Android Settings.
| Permission | Used for | If you say no |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Meeting start and stop points, and the route of a trip. | Meetings cannot record where they happened. The rest of the app works normally. |
| Phone | Dialling a dealer from inside the app. | The app opens your dialler instead, with the number filled in. |
| Microphone | Voice notes you record after a call. | No voice notes. Everything else is unaffected. |
| Photos and files | Profile picture, expense bills, attachments. | You cannot attach files. |
| Notifications | Follow-up reminders and alerts. | No reminders — you check the list yourself. |
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. The app is for our employees and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be told to employees directly.
